We went to see Michael Fiebrich in Rech in the Ahr Valley in March 2026. Apparently we had given him a business card when he was working for Christophe Richter in Ahrweiler back in 2007. 19 years later he got in touch to tell us about his wines which he makes from just 1.8 hectares of vineyards. His Spätburgunders are pure and elegant. Sour cherries, morello cherries, fresh and moreish.
