Job Vacancy – Sales Facilitator
The Winery is a long-established independent wine merchant based in a former Victorian pharmacy in Little Venice, London W9 and our second branch in Fulham SW6. We import our entire range of wine and champagne ourselves and travel constantly to find small growers in our specialist regions of France, Germany, Italy, Spain and California.
We are seeking applicants for a full-time Sales Facilitator role, 35-37.5 hours per week.
The successful applicant will have excellent wine knowledge and/or qualifications (WSET, or comparable), wine trade experience, be a good communicator, warm and open, with good people skills.
Tasks would involve everything that is required in running wine shops, including (but not limited to) reporting to managers and director on all shop functions and activities; helping and advising customers in person, by phone and email; banking; record-keeping; tastings on and off site; liaising with growers and transporters; receiving and unloading pallets of wine and champagne etc; placing stock on shelves and downstairs into our cellars; stock control.
The applicant will be comfortable with computers (experience with Excel and Word).
A full driving licence would be an advantage as would an additional language.

Share of monthly commission and Company Pension Scheme.
Basic Salary from £25,207 to £27,007.50 per annum, depending on hours.
